Too Opinionated Interview: Kallie Hu

Kallie Hu is an actress and dancer born in Vancouver, BC as the
youngest daughter of Chinese immigrants. Starting dance at age 4,
she trained and competed across North America while completing a
Cognitive Systems degree at the University of British Columbia. Her
plans to accept a masters program in Barcelona were derailed when
she booked her first dance role in Disney's Descendants 2 (directed
by Kenny Ortega and choreographed by Tony Testa) before a
serendipitous crossover into acting. Since then, she has never
looked back.
Kallie has now worked as an actress for over 6 years and can be
found in shows such as Showtime's Yellowjackets (across Melanie
Lynskey and Peter Gadiot), CW's The Flash, Charmed (directed by
Gina Rodriguez), DC'S Legends of Tomorrow, CBS's Twilight Zone, and
Freeform's Motherland: Fort Salem.
Films include Netflix's Love, Guaranteed (alongside Rachael Leigh
Cook, Damon Wayans Jr., and Heather Graham) as well as several
Hallmark, GAC, and Lifetime movies, including a supporting role on
Hallmark's upcoming Lights! Camera! Christmas!
As a dancer, she has also appeared on productions such as Netflix's
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Disney's Freaky Friday, and
ABC's Once Upon a Time.
Currently, Kallie can be seen recurring as Peg in Paramount+'s
highly anticipated Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies.
