Melena Rounis is a versatile choreographer, director and
performer who has been sharing her passion and knowledge of
all things dance over the course of her 20+
year career. She has worked extensively in film, TV, and
live performances and shows, striving to push the
creative boundaries and developing emotionally driven and
often high-tech content.
Melena has lent her choreographic touch to numerous film and TV productions for Netflix, ABC, Comedy Central, Hallmark, The CW, SyFy, and HBO Max. She has collaborated with renowned brands such as Disney, Dancing with the Stars, Honda, Kmart, Christian Louboutin, AIDS Health Foundation, and Knott's Berry Farm Amusement Park, leaving an indelible mark on each project. Her expertise has also been showcased in productions such as Sesame Street Live! tours, serving as the associate director and choreographer, and groundbreaking research and development initiatives for Walt Disney Imagineering.
Her talent has graced prestigious stages, including Cirque
du Soleil's Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour and
The Beatles LOVE in Las Vegas. She has mesmerized
audiences on popular reality and award shows such as The
Grammys MusicCares, Latin American Music Awards, America's
Got
Talent, American Idol, and Next Top Model. Melena has even had
the privilege of performing alongside legendary artists such
as Sir Paul McCartney, Pitbull, Maluma, French Montana, Daddy
Yankee, and Vanilla Ice.
Her most recent business endeavor, The Ninety Intensive, is aimed at bridging the gap for dancers from stage to screen.
